4C System Mini-GM Screen

Hey folks! I've recently posted a mini-GM screen up at RPGNow, and other OBS sites. It's a simple one that can be printed out on a single sheet of card stock, and folded to make a digest-sized screen…

City of New Justice 2 Replies

Hi folks! I've started up an initiative to create an open source setting for use with the 4C System. I'm currently calling it the City of New Justice. By open source, I mean that it will be released…

Creature Compendium 4 Replies

Hey there! I'm tinkering around with a creature compendium for 4C, and I thought I'd see what you guys thought might do well in there. The original system included a handful of critters in the Judge'…

Anyone Else Have Plans for 4C?

Yeah but the acronym was more of a happy afterthought than a design goal of the original. It just sounds forced.

I was trying to keep the same seven...with new names. In general and keeping a fun easy to remember acronym..:D

Tim, I would suggest not getting bogged down in the details. Part of the appeal of a system like this is its lightness. Is a newly proposed trait something that is likely to be used multiple times during a game session? If the answer to that is no, then the new trait is probably better served as being a function of something that already exists.

That is a tough one! The only thing that comes to mind even remotely close is "Look." Dictionary.com's thesaurus listed "learning" under Perception and Wisdom, but that fits better for Intellect. "Light" was also suggested, as in "the inner light," might fit, but could be confusing at first glance.

I'd like something a bit more elegant stat-line wise. I'm not sure yet, I need to get my copy out and review it.
