I believe Ed Greenwood is Canadian. He of course is the co-creator of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting.

According to Wikipedia, "...he lives in an old farmhouse in the countryside of Ontario". :)

Back in the old BBS days in Toronto I used to see messages from Robin D. Laws on a board or two. How's that for influential and Canadian? I'd like to say I know him, but I don't think we ever corresponded, though maybe. According to Wikipedia Robin still lives in Toronto.

Harn was created by N. Robin Crosby (now deceased) and is a Canadian game. Crosby was originally from England but lived in British Columbia most of his life, and Columbia Games was originally located in B.C but later moved to Washington State.

An acquaintance of mine was good friends with Crosby. He had quite a network of friends and gamers in New Westminster from what I understand. I wish I'd had the chance to meet him.

The guys behind Spaceship Zero—the members of the band The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets—are from various parts of the the Fraser Valley, inland of Vancouver, BC. They used to hang out at the old FLGS in Mission, BC.

The lead singer, Toren Atkinson, is in Vancouver proper, no? I follow his blog pretty regularly. Multi-talented guy.
